In the first week after the birth of your child we will regularly check upon you and the baby at home. We will check if everything goes well with you, the woman in childbed, and the baby. We will also advise you on feeding (breast- or bottlefeeding) the baby. During childbed you will get practical help of the maternity help mainly. The midwife has a consultative and monitoring function. The maternity help may establish possible problems and get into contact with us.

Six weeks after delivery you will visit us during office hours to discuss the delivery and to check some things. This final check up after delivery is meant for the mother, the baby will be checked at the consultancy around that time.
